"If you can't pronounce it, don't eat it." - Common Sense

I believe we are what we eat, and we are how we eat. Growing strong, healthy, and happy children starts with good nutrition. At the Bouncy Bean, we learn to identify foods, discover where they come from, and recognize what they can do for us. As a self-proclaimed “foodie” and a proud member of the slow food movement, I have a deep appreciation for all the flavors, colors, and textures of life. All of our home-cooked meals and snacks are made from simple, wholesome, seasonal ingredients sourced locally and organically whenever possible. Our children have an opportunity to tend to our garden where they learn what it takes to grow the food we eat. They are encouraged to help cook so they understand how the food ends up on their plate. And together we take time to appreciate all the food we’re fortunate enough to enjoy.
